Stay: Tarhis Guest HouseDepart Nairobi early morning, driving south along the Mombasa Road. The journey takes about 5 hours, passing through changing landscapes from highland forests to semi-arid bush. Enter Tsavo East through the Manyani Gate and drive to Tarhis Guest House. After lunch, head out for your first game drive along the Galana River, where elephants cool off in the muddy water and crocodiles bask on the sandy banks. Tsavo West and Departure
